Wallingford 10K Thames Run: Facilities

We are lucky to have excellent facilities for the Wallingford 10K Thames Run at Howbery Park. You can read more below.

The gates to Howbery Park will open at 8:30am. Registration and changing facilities will be in the Manor House. There are toilet facilities here, but we regret, no showers. Possessions are left at your own risk, and, although we will keep and eye on them for you, we cannot guarantee their safety.

Parking

There is ample parking at Howbery Park, but please park in the designated area near to the Manor House.

The grounds around the Manor House are extensive with plenty of space for children to run around and play, but obviously with parental supervision.

In addition we are planning to have a bouncy castle and a small animal petting farm. If the weather is not very good (unlikely) we have indoor facilities so that everyone can enjoy the event in the dry.

Be SunSmart!!

Keep an eye on the weather forecast - sometimes it can get pretty hot in early June!! If the sun's out please remember to bring a hat and some high factor sun cream. Water stops will be provided at regular intervals on the course and at the start and finish, so please use them.
