Historically, the Thames Run was a 14K multi-terrain course along the banks of the Thames near Wallingford. Flooding in recent years prompted a shortening of the course in 2008 to 10K, slightly away from the river, which proved very popular. It has been decided to maintain this course at this distance. Please see the map below for details of the course. There will be kilometre posts and two water stations at regular intervals on the course, together with race marshals etc.
