The Wallingford 10K Thames Run is run by volunteers to raise money for local and national charities. In 2012 we aim to support Crowmarsh Gifford Primary School and Cancer Research UK.

To cover the costs of hosting the event, we need help from local businesses and sponsors. If you would like to support this event through sponsorship or advertising, please click here for more information.

We are also in need to marshals to help on race day. If you are over 18 and would like to be involved please contact the Race Secretary – racesecretary@thamesrun.co.uk.

2011 Race Result

The 2011 Thames Run was again a very successful event with over 400 entries. The 10km run was held at Howbery Park, Wallingford in excellent running conditions.

The winners were:

Male:

1: Julien L'Homme - 34:10 (course record)

2: Nick Jones - 34:30

3: Paul Roberson 35:12

Veteran: Graham Tull - 41:03

Team: Reading Roadrunners 1:47:20 (Paul Roberson, Julian Sherman, Chris Payne)

Female:

1: Kay Walsha - 40:27

2: Joane Johnson - 40:51

3: Gemma Bridge - 40:47

Veteran: Sandra Wolanski 44:18

Team: Reading Roadrunners 2:26:30 (Belinda Tull, Rosemary Payne, Sarah Harris)

Well done to everyone who participated in the 2011 Thames 10K Run. We had a record number of entries and will have raised a substantial amount to support our charities.
