2008 UKA Race Permit Number 10101 SEAA Permit No. 7205
We were blessed by great weather, at least great for those of us who were waiting at the start if not those pounding along the tow path which added to the family carnival feel.
Reducing the race distance to 10k avoided the FLOODED BITS and a great number of you said you preferred this distance and with the fastest time recorded as just over 32mins this seemed to be a fast course.
Once again thanks to everybody for making the run a great success and we look forward to seeing you all again next year, and if you liked it, why not bring your friends.
You are just one click away from all the results, please let me know if there are any queries.
Finally don't forget to look at the hundreds of photos in our GALLERY, you may well be in there, we got most people.
Please feel free to download any that you would like but if you can send a donation of £2 per photo to Cancer Research we would be very grateful. Their address for donations is:-HERE.
Kind Regards The Wallingford Thames Run Committee
- What a great day -
Thanks to everybody who came along and either ran, or supported the runners of the 2008 Wallingford Thames run.
This was the first year run in partnership with the fabulous HOWBERY PARK and judging by your positive reaction combined with the great support received from them and their staff we hope to continue this relationship. We were blessed by great weather, at least great for those of us who were waiting at the start if not those pounding along the tow path which added to the family carnival feel.
